Event Description:
The sixth annual Route 66 Hot Boat and Custom Car Show presented by TKO Motorsports and the Big O Tires/NAPA Auto Parts Golf Tournament gets underway Friday, February 21 & Saturday, February 22. There will be plenty of boats, cars, golf, barbecue and more for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The event kicks off with the golf tournament at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at River’s Edge Golf Course. Early registration for the boat and car show participants will kick off at noon Friday at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, 2420 Needles Highway. Then at 3 p.m., line up for the parade will begin, starting at the KOA Campground, 5400 National Old Trails Road. The parade starts at 4 p.m. from the campground and ends up at Santa Fe Park. A barbecue at Santa Fe Park starts at 3 p.m. Cost is $8 a plate. Drinks come separately.
On Saturday, gates to the show at Jack Smith Park open at 10 a.m. Cost to get in the gate is $3 per person (free for age 11 and under). There will be a poker walk, 50/50 and prize raffles & vendors.
