Boating Safety Classes - It's the Law!

If you intend to operate a boat or PWC in Nevada waters (i.e. Lake Mohave, Lake Mead, and parts of the Colorado River) and were born on, or after, January 1, 1983 - you are required by law to have completed a boaters safety course and be in possession of an ABS card.

Certified instructors with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will conduct a class room interactive courses, covering the basics of boating federal and state laws, equipment requirements, navigation, emergence measures and safety. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of competency and an ABS card.
