Event Description:
Humana invites the community to attend a free wellness event on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mohave Community College, 3400 Highway 95, Bullhead City, in Building 600 and the adjacent parking lot (for a campus map click here). The wellness event will include free body mass index (BMI) assessments, weight and blood pressure readings with an on-site nurse, activity demonstrations by SilverSneakers Fitness Program, health and wellness education, and light refreshments. There will be mammograms and osteoporosis screenings provided by Assured Imaging by appointment only. Humana members can meet with registered nurses for questions and guidance and may be eligible to receive take-home test kits, including blood sugar, diabetes nephropathy care, and colorectal cancer tests.
