Name: CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County Charity Gold Tournament
Date: October 22, 2016
Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM MST
Event Description:

The CASA Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that raises funds to help fulfill the unmet needs of foster children in Mohave County, AZ. This tournament is our major fundraising event for the year.

Foster children only want the same thing any child wants: the opportunity to participate. Unfortunately, through no fault of their own, they are put into circumstances where money is not always available to help them. The generous contributions of previous sponsors have helped us to raise funds to provide the following items to foster children: tutoring, computers, equine therapy, swimming lessons, summer camp fees, sports fees and equipment, dance lessons, music lessons and instruments, placement emergency items, transportation, clothing and numerous other items.

Please note that we allow anyone involved in the child welfare community that has identified a need, to request funds to help fulfill the unmet need of a foster child.

Our board is comprised of unpaid volunteers and additionally half of the board also serve as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who work within the child welfare community and courts advocating for foster children.
