Event Description:
Montessori Preparatory Academy is sponsoring a FREE Children's Art Festival and 1K run/walk, featuring hands-on experiences for children and parents, including pottery sculpting, photography, painting, quilt tying, sculpture making, singing, dancing, drama, and performances of all kinds.
There will also be a musical "petting zoo" where children will be invited to try out different musical instruments, a "Chalk the Walk" activity, and many other exciting events.
The 1K run/walk is scheduled for 10am and will follow a path along the Colorado River.
All proceeds will be donated to community organizations that support the arts.
