The History of Oatman and the Oatman Massacre presented  in partnership with the Colorado River Museum and Historical Society.

Oatman, with its mines and burros, is always a popular Route 66 destination, especially during Bike Week! Come learn about its history and the storied Oatman Massacre before the motorcycles arrive. 

Historian and author Jackie Rowland-Murray, President of the Oatman Historical Society, "Tailings of Time," has written the book of Oatman history. Along with highlights from her book, she presents information about Olive Oatman and her brother Lorenzo, the only survivors of the infamous Oatman Massacre.
