Law Enforcement Torch Run Kayak Fundraiser
On Sunday, May 3rd citizens are welcome to Kayak the Colorado River to be part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR.)
Thanks to our fundraising partnership with Desert River Kayak, citizens are able to participate in the kayak portion of the relay Torch Run through Bullhead City. Kayakers will be shuttled from Community Park to Davis Camp at 6 a.m. Once the torch arrives at about 7 a.m., you will begin your experience paddling down the Colorado River with police officers to Community Park. The kayak trip will last about 1 1/2 hours. The cost is $30 per person, which includes kayak (single, tandem/double or standup paddleboard), gear and transportation to the launch.
All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Arizona.
Law Enforcement Torch Run Breakfast
The public is invited to attend the Torch Reception Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, May 3rd from 7 - 9:30 a.m. at Community Park, 1241 Hwy 95, Bullhead City. The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) raises money and awareness for the Special Olympics Arizona. Meet local Special Olympic athletes, be entertained by DJ Loke and enjoy breakfast donated by Western AZ Regional Medical Center for a $5 donation.
