Event Description:
In response to an overwhelming demand, the Bullhead City Recreation Division has announced the dates for the inaugural ‘May Madness’ Adult Soccer Tournament. It will be held Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 at Rotary Park located at 2315 Balboa Drive.
The park will be host to dozens of teams from all over the Southwest. Bullhead City should expect to see yet another huge influx of out-of-town visitors who spend thousands of dollars into the local economy as part of the sports tourism industry enhanced by the City’s Recreation Division.
Games are scheduled to start at 9:00am. The three game guarantee format ensures that they will have plenty of opportunity to compete against other competition during the tournament. Multiple skill levels will be offered in the Men’s divisions, which welcome all players 18 years old and over. Judging by player and sponsor enthusiasm, it would seem that the City’s formula for success has paid off. Winners will be crowned at the end of play on Sunday.
With warm and sunny weather in May and beautiful soccer facilities, teams will be treated to a great tournament. Interested players or teams should contact Ryan Fruhwirth at (928) 763-9400 Ext 306.
