Event Description:
The Mohave Valley Daily News (MVDN) and the Salvation Army have teamed up to help stock the shelves of the local food bank by holding their first food drive, a 40-day effort that begins June 3 and ends July 12.
The MVDN is offering a free month's subscription to new or current subscribers who donate a minimum of $10 worth of nonperishable food items to the drive.
The Salvation Army is asking the public to donate items such as canned meats, grains, fruits, vegetables, beverages, kid-friendly foods and baby products.
All non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Mohave Daily News offices located at 2435 Miracle Mile Road, from 8am-5pm Monday -Friday. For more information contact: 928-763-2505
