Event Description:
Project Playground, a project of Kiwanis of the Colorado River, will host a ground breaking ceremony and announce the winner of the playground naming contest. This event will be held at the Project Playground site, on the corner of Tule Drive and Golden Shores Parkway (next to the elementary school located at 5083 Tule Dr, Topock, AZ).
The mission of Project Playground is to plan, fund and build a community playground in Topock/Golden Shores where multiple generations can play and celebrate life together.
The program for the ceremony includes unveiling of playground renderings, announcing the winner of the playground naming contest along with the playground name, a thank you to supporters and sponsors, a timeline for playground completion and volunteer opportunities. Light refreshments will be provided.
