Event Description:
The Needles Chamber of Commerce hosts the Run For The Wall event every year. This year the date is May 13, 2015. The Chamber hosts approximately 400+ veterans who are on their way to celebrate Memorial Day in Washington DC, specifically at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. The Chamber feeds them lunch, snacks and drinks, as well as provides first aid, cooling stations and plenty of water, and then they are on their way!
The Needles Chamber of Commerce is requesting donations to help honor our veterans. The Chamber does not profit in any way on this event, except for the pride we are able to bring to the tri-state area in recognizing our veterans.
Please help the Chamber continue this tradition to honor those who gave so much for our freedoms! We appreciate any amount you can contribute. As well, we invite you to please attend this most patriotic event and see for yourself how thrilling it is to witness the arrival of our veterans as they come roaring into town! The event is May 13, 2015. They will begin arriving at 1:45 PM at Santa Fe Park in Needles, California. You will want to arrive a bit earlier than that!
