MOHAVE COUNTY WWII VETERANS TO BE HONORED The Mohave County Supervisors have approved the relocation of the WWII memorial from the County Courthouse on Spring St, in Kingman to the Lobby area of the Mohave County Administration, 700 Beale St. Kingman, AZ. This approval was at the request of the Marine Corps League, Det. #887 and the Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County. The memorial has the name of every known Mohave County resident and WWII military veteran that served in World War II. Additional information, including the names, can be found at www.javc.org/memorial/. A special ?THANK YOU? goes out to the Kingman Home Depot as they are completing the restoration. This restoration will be as a donation and to honor the memory of our WWII military veterans. Ceremony information Date and time: Monday, May 30, 2016 at 9:00 AM. This event will be over prior to 11:00 AM as many other organizations will be conducting events. Your name, title, organization, mailing address and telephone number would be appreciated. We need your help in notifying all WWII veterans of this ceremony. An RSVP from the WWII veterans would also be appreciated as we want to introduce them to the audience. All military veterans that have served will also be honored.
